there is something wrong?
okay but
"It is normal for babies to wake up night"
That what Blandine has been told for her daughter. The problem was... from the very first call we could spot Red Flags to suspect milk allergy.
Unfortunately Blandine was told, "babies are supposed to wake up at night, they are supposed to cry, ... Yes parenthood is hard. As long as their development is not interrupt and weight is doing good, every thing is ok."
So she never though to tell her Paediatrician that her daughter was:
-
Waking up screaming
-
Cluster feeding as the norm (not only for a growth-spurt period of time)
-
Taking 30 to 120min to settle down
This is why if you're looking for a root-cause approach to help your child sleep you need to fill in a Sleep Agenda a consultation.

Allow yourslef to focus on the "big picture" rather than the clock. Here are some rules to follow when you get concerned and want to evaluate your baby sleep:
-
Always analyze sleep in 7-day blocks (use the sleep diary if necessary)
-
Compare total sleep per 24 hours, rather than per “stretch”
-
Even short “stretch” times (min 20 min) count as restful sleep.
-
Sleeping in arms is at least as restful as sleeping in a crib.
-
Restless sleep, called REM sleep, counts as restful sleep.
