Why my baby is not sleeping ?
"This mum asked me to help her" the day after our 30-minute call, I was moved by her text.
“Honestly, it’s a miracle—I don’t know how else to put it. Because after I spoke to you on the phone, she slept through the whole night, which hadn’t happened since November. She’s calmer. I’m calmer.
Louise, you have magical powers!”
The full script of the voice memo she sent me that day
So I made a mini- blog series to document what we uncovered during these transforming 30 min, so now you can actually see your baby find sleep too but also begin to release some guilt and doubt in the process.
I made for her
This is YOUR STORY

A healthy newborn of 2.5 months sleeps 10/11 hours by night is that normal?
That is what has been asked,
While it is in the window of what we expect from a baby between 1-3 month, I wondered if they were another question or concerned behind that one
She has been told that is normal, because baby is growing well and has no health issues.
I wondered if we could find answers for the families that are in between.
Those who struggle in the "It's normal" window:
-
The tongue tie diagnosed but still uncomfortable
-
The silent reflux, treated but still difficult
STRUGGLE TO FALL ASLEEP
These parents were struggling to make their daughter fall asleep before midnight, she would fight and cry for hour before falling from exhaustion.
They tried everything,
They first worked on a routine to sleep, they tried to leave her to cry, they try setting good sleep associations, they tried to wait it out.
Rock her to sleep didn't worked anymore
Stroller outside in the evening didn't worked anymore
Bottle to sleep didn't worked anymore...
Much more than not wanted to cry it out or either give up, they just didn’t have any other choice anymore, they tried everything!
They were looking for something stronger than the 5s Method and different than leaving to cry.
So I crafted the LOOP TECHNIC for them.
I method that would help her settle down with something else than sleep training.

When connection doesnt work anymore to find sleep
Her daughter has always been the "easiest" ones of her twins, she embrace her autonomy from the very beginning. This until today we realized with mum, she actually tend to sleep better when she had these moment of exploration on her own.
So this WORKBOOK bundle I've suggested to these parents:
-
Sensory Profile
-
Autonomy vs Independence
-
Release tensions game for sleep
-
From attached to feeling-safe exploration
-
Risky Plays
-
The bonding home chores
You’ve tried

Yeah I see you.
Some parents are left after sleep training with a heavy load of guilt. I really hope it is not your case, but if it is, - Here are my (i-didn’t-know-was-unique) thoughts about Sleep Training and leaving to cry.
Grab the load of compassion you deserve & then let me embarke you on how to not have to go that road again if you don’t want to.
